Beep your horn at me... welcome to aggravation town.

I walked out of my bank's building into a crammed parking lot that is always full. Getting a spot in it is just luck. As I opened the door to my car I saw a guy in a truck pull in the north entrance.
  • 04
I was parked just about mid-line between the north and south entrances. I had a few things to take care of before I intended to leave.
  • 05
I no sooner started my car when I heard "honk". In my peripheral vision I see the truck that pulled in sitting stationary about five feet before my parking spot. I
  • 06
ignore. "hhooooonkkk... hhoooonkkkkk" -- Oh here we go, i thought to myself. I never budged.
  • 07
After the third set of "honks" in under a minute I decided I was digging in. Just as I was about to get stubborn I see a little Toyota pull in the south entrance and turn down my lane. I immediately

reversed out and squeezed, on an angle, between the truck's front end and the other parking spaces opposite of mine. This gave the truck nowhere to go. I

waved the 'ol gal into my parking spot. She had to come in on an angle so it took her a couple attempts to straighten out her car in my old spot.

she straightened up from leaning into my window I see the arthritic hand raise the middle finger as she shoved her fist into the air in the general direction of Mr -Truck. Glorious!!

  • 14
be courteous, #3, go f yourself sideways if you insist on honking and insist on being an AH.

Tanned Suitoba... • 3h ago I've done something similar. I was leaving work one day, and I had already got inside my truck. I always back in,
  • 16
when possible when I arrive as it's easier. So, this day, I see a regular vehicle waiting for a spot. It's a white Bronco, not OJs, and the driver is always patient and doesn't do anything to warrant aggravation.
  • 17
He's on my left and on my right is an old busy body that I know from work and who is annoying from all get out. She had just barely got there when I got inside and I know Bronco been waiting

for longer. So I started my truck and I pulled forward enough to block her so she couldn't get the spot. I then looked in my mirror to check and the guy had pulled in, he gave me a courtesy wave, I waved back and went on my way.

and fast." Then he heard crunching sound. The old lady who had been carefully backing into the spot he took was backing into his car repeatedly. She smiled and waved and said to him, "This is what you can do when you are old and rich".

LadyBAudacious • 3h ago Top 1% Commenter Similar happened to me a few Christmases back. I returned to my car to offload several bags I was tired of schlepping around, so I'd be hands-free for round 2.
  • 22
A car pulled up with the intent to take my space. I waved him off so that he'd not waste time as I wasn't leaving. He ignored me and urged me to hurry up.
  • 23
I took my time rearranging the bags and closed the boot. Waved to him again, this time goodbye as headed back into the mall.

I did hear a squeal as I walked away, which I'm guessing was his eagerly lifting the clutch to start searching for another space.
